Music production from idea to final versions

Develop a track, refine a demo or prepare original music for a brand or screen project. Start by identifying what already works and what needs further production.

Set a musical direction

A creative brief connects references, key, tempo and form to the audience and intended use. A short test or first production version helps establish the direction before further work.

Build and record with a clear structure

Arrangement decisions establish the character of the work. Recording and editing follow agreed performance choices and an organised structure for takes.

  • Composition and arrangement where required.
  • Recording and editing suited to the chosen character.
  • Mixing, mastering and agreed delivery versions.

Separate the master from the release package

The final master is checked across playback systems. Metadata, release content and additional versions are defined as part of the agreed handover.

A finished audio file is not the same as a complete release package. Confirm the materials and rights needed for the intended next step.
